Advent of Typography

The advent of code is a classic to try new programming languages. In the past, I also stumbled upon advent of TikZ. Hence, I thought, why not do the same with fonts and typography? Everyday there should be a new entry on a particular font face or some other facts or tips about typography, document layout, coloring, and all the rest. Heck, why not even do simple challenges, in which the audience can compete and come up with new designs? Unfortunately, I do not feel knowledgeable enough to write it myself—at least for this year.
